〈草原上的小孩 The Nomadic Kids〉

這天我們來到遠離烏蘭巴托市十多小時車程的蒙古人聚居地，這裡的小孩子雖然不用忙於上課、功課和考試，而且年紀幼小，但他們的自理能力，相信比大部份香港的小孩有過之而無不及。

潺潺流水，從古至今都在孕育著一個個文明，蒙古也不例外。他們的居所遠離市區，生活模式是百分百永續而自給自足：利用馬匹做運輸工具，牧牛羊和種菜作為食物，在小溪打水洗碗和飲用。要是我們在都市的生活，能夠仿效十中之一，相信我們可以大大降低對環境的衝擊。

We traveled over 10 hours of bus from Ulan Bator to a small town of Mongolians. The children are young and free from intensive schooling, and yet they are even more capable than Hong Kong children in terms of self-management.

Fresh waters are always nurturing civilization from the time being. Mongolian people who live far away from city adopt a 100% sustainable and self-sufficient lifestyle. They ride horses as transportation, feed calvary and plant vegetables as food, and take water from river for washing and drinking. Let's imagine - if urban areas imitate one-tenth of the lifestyle, human impacts on the natural environment will be substantially reduced.
