One of the signatures of Cambodia is handicraft. We brought participants to a household in  rural village in Siem Reap which all the family members are excellent handicrafters.

Young performers from Pursat Alumni Association (PAA) were invited to teach us the traditional Khmer dancing. PAA is led by Mr. Rem Chandara who is a young entrepreneur.

Cambodia is famous for carvings and silk products. Guided visit to Artisan and Silk Farm provided our participants a gateway to witness the whole production of high quality local artifacts.

Through visiting the largest centre of detention in Cambodia, our students gained a real insight into the Khmer Rouge rule.

Killing field

Being described as one of the mind-blowing parts of our program - every students experienced an audio tour to trace back the cruel history happened here in 1970s. 

 

Cultural night

The highlight of this program - provides the best opportunity to get hands-on experience of exploring Cambodia through directly interacting with villagers there. Translators recruited from local university will accompany you for home visit, farm work and lunch gathering too !

Cambodia’s Premier rice has been voted as the World’s best at the World Rice Conference for three years!  Rice planting or harvesting give our participants a taste of being farmer in Cambodia for a day!

To discover the legend of Buddhist temple here when standing at the highest point in the capital of Cambodia. What a fabulous place to enjoy a full view of the city!

Apart from the stunning sunrise view, spending a day to visit enormous temples is great enough to enrich our understanding on this World Heritage Site.

Pour un Sourire d'Enfant (PSE) - a non-profit organization dedicated to provide food, medical care, general education and vocational training to uneducated children.

 

Children and Development Organization (CDO) - is a family-run children centre that provides shelter and free education to unprivileged Cambodian children.

 

Daughters -  aims at changing and improving lives of those victims of trafficking in Cambodia.  

NGO visit

Russian Market, Old Market, Made in Cambodia Market and various of Night Markets are must-visit places for foreigners to grab for local handmade products and try local massage.

Local markets

Campus tour, cultural exchange session and lunch gathering in Paññāsātra University of Cambodia (PUC) encourage participants to actively explore the authentic Cambodia through daily interation.
