Innovation Insight Program visions the unlimited possibilities of youths capitalising their resources and talents, with international exposure and insights of innovation. This time, the program’s destination is Hong Kong, which highlights 2 major areas: social innovation and tourism. Social entrepreneurship is seen as an innovative way to tackle social problems while tourism is a key to showcase your country’s uniqueness and culture to the rest of the world. The program will give you a glimpse of the ecosystem of innovation & entrepreneurship, at the same time, a taste of tourism & culture.

  • Exploration of Hong Kong Park of Science and Technology, discover technology advancement in daily application
     

  • Lunch in Happy Veggies, a social enterprise and non-profit restaurant staffed mainly by hearing impaired people
     

  • Visit to Good Lab, immerse in leading incubator of social enterprises
     

  • Shop in the Former Police Married Quarters (PMQ) in Central, a hub for local create-preneurs and designers
     

  • Ding Ding (Tram tour), one of the most traditional transportations serving Hong Kong for over 100 years  
     

  • Take the Peak Tram to the Peak to enjoy the magnificent night view of Hong Kong
     

  • Dinner in Dai Pai Dong, a unique type of restaurant in Hong Kong
     

  • Take the star ferry to travel across the Victoria Harbor back from Hong Kong Island to Kowloon

  • Workshop with local young social entrepreneurs, sharing the journey of being a changemaker
     

  • Farewell dinner with ASEAN students studying in Hong Kong, “Tourism Marketing” Campaign Demonstration, pitch your country to Hong Kong!

Day 5

 

 

  • Farewell Meal - Yum Cha, to try out the unique Canton cuisine Dim Sum in Chinese Cha Lau
     

  • City Tour

*The program fee does not include round-trip transporation (i.e. flights, bus, train, etc), you are responsible to arrange the transporation by yourselves. 

 

#In order to protect your rights, you are required to obtain your own universal or “all-inclusive” travel insurance with adequate medical cover if you wish to join the program. A copy of your insurance with emergency contact has to be provided to UNi no less than 1 week before departure. Failure to provide this information can, and has, resulted in participants being unable to continue on program and no refunds will be offered.
