Cultural Exchange Program is a highlight activity of UNi. It aims to enlighten people with new perspectives to social services. Social services are meaningless when we know very little about the needs of society. Therefore, before dedicating your time as a social servant, UNi provides first-hand experience of local culture by engaging you in interacting with youths and villagers.
Highlights

UNi believes that learning from the society is the most fundamental before serving it. We therefore devise a series of unique cultural activities for you to get acquainted with Cambodia. The activities range from visiting historical sites to joining tailor-made cultural events. We bring you comprehensive understandings of lifestyle, history and social issues of Cambodia.

Culture is mostly about people. UNi facilitates cross-boundary and long-lasting friendship through interactive programs. You can make friends with all walks of life from Cambodia including elite university students and representatives from NGOs. Our past participants always keep in touch with Cambodian facilitators!

After learning from the society, UNi brings you to serve the rural villages through interesting activities such as home visit and surveys, i.e. need assessment. The data collected will be used as a reference for Cambodian NGOs to enact blueprint for long-term village improvement. As an escape from hustle and bustle, you can meanwhile appreciate the wonder of mother nature and its amazing relationship with human beings.
